Plasma cutters
CNC plasma cutters use an electric arc to ionize air and melt the material at the point of the arc’s impact. Since this process occurs using an electric arc, it applies only to electrically conductive materials, such as metals and conductive alloys. It is a hot cutting process that takes place by melting the material. As a result, visually apparent heat-affected zones remain at the cut site.
